I use the blog format to share digital photographs and scrapbook layouts with my family. My husband, Bob, and I have three sons (two are identical twins), three daughters-in-law, and twin granddaughters. We moved from Las Vegas, Nevada to South Carolina in December 2005 and it was the best thing we ever did.

Darling Justine on Halloween 2005. Look at that baby face!

Sweet Lauren is not hard to entertain - she's interested in everything - and looks adorable in her velour pumpkin outfit!

Justine and Lauren are mesmerized by yet another toy. In this one, the chair vibrates and in front of them is a clear screen of sorts. Inside the screen is a star fish and a couple of other brightly colored fish. A substance like water shoots bubbles through the water and the starfish spins while the other fish move around. Music plays along with this one too and the babies are quite taken with it all.

Lauren is still watching those fish and she even begins to talk to them.

Justine is back under the Baby Einstein star, talking away, waving her arms and kicking her legs in excitement!

Halloween 2005

This one is priceless. Lauren is in the swing. Several fish are revolving above her while music plays. But somehow in this shot, it appears that she and a fish are eyeing one another. What must Lauren be thinking? Too cute for words!

I came upstairs on Halloween morning and Connie already had the babies all dressed for the occasion. They looked so cute. Because the girls are in different sizes, it's a little difficult for them to always wear identical outfits. Justine is 13.5 lbs and Lauren is 9.11 lbs in this picture. These outfits were borrowed from Lynette's little girl who is now 18 months old.

October 30 also happens to be my birthday. Todd and Stephanie surprised me with a beautiful bouquet of fragrant white roses. Connie had a lovely cut glass vase and some great advise on keeping roses fresh, so the arrangement lasted all week and looked wonderful on the coffee table.

These premature babies have made great progress in terms of growth and development. Here they enjoy their Baby Einstein toy, a clever musical concoction. When the babies get excited about the star with rotating lights above them, they kick the arches. The act of the kick causes the music and lights to continue to play, so the babies have non-stop fun. As you can see, Justine (left) and Lauren (right) are smiling and talking to the star. They both love this activity. Well, in one shot Justine is actually not so happy as she grabs on to Lauren's sleeve.

Lauren with Connie in this picture is also wearing her bib. Lauren's quite the talker these days. She's cooing and ah goo-ing to Connie in this shot. Soooo cute!

I arrived at Connie and Troy's in Chicago to help with Justine (pictured at left with me) and Lauren at 5 1/2 months old. If the babies had been born on July 31st, their due date, they would only be 3 months old right now. Troy had to spend the week in Atlanta on business, so I took the opportunity to volunteer to help out in his absence - and I was so glad I did! The darling embroidered bib Justine is wearing in this picture is a baby gift from Steve and Annie, our nephew and his wife.
